Our Duct Cleaning Department Has
Two High Power Duct Vacuuming Systems
The process is basically simple. we get
maximum air cleaning velocity by placing
a piece of sheet metal between the supply
and return side of your ductwork allowing
us to isolate and clean one side at a
time. While the vac unit is running, we
cover all the registers and open them
one at a time and blow compressed air
down each run of the supply side first.
We then move the vac hose to the return
side and blow down the return side. At
this point we run the air ball (also called
"air whip") through the main
trunk line(s). If the basement is unfinished,
we drill access holes in the trunk lines,
and when done, we plug these holes back
up with form fitting plugs. The air ball
blows a circular velocity of air. This
does an excellent job of cleaning out
the entire area including the corners
of the rectangular trunk lines. We also
thoroughly vac out the blower and burner
compartments.
We expect this process to take about
three hours, depending on the size of
your home and number of ducts.
